Today Professor Paul will consider some of the qualities that make a person a good firearms instructor. This coincides with the release of Mr. Markel’s new book the SOTG Instructor Development Manual.
During our Duracoat Finished Firearms segment we will consider the wide variety of products available to you, the end user. For our Brownells Bullet Points segment we will consider a new product of which you might not be aware.
Also, for our SOTG Homeroom from CrossBreed Holsters, we have an after-action review of a deadly force encounter. A woman was forced to shoot her former boyfriend after the man broke into her home at 4:30 in the morning. What can we learn from this incident?

From www.breitbart.com:
A Las Vegas woman shot and killed an alleged home intruder Wednesday morning as he held a gun to her boyfriend’s head.
The Las Vegas Sun reports that the alleged intruder was the woman’s ex-boyfriend, and that he entered the home through a window around 4:30 a.m.
Once inside he noticed that the woman was armed with a handgun, so he allegedly exited the residence, retrieved a gun for himself, then returned.
From www.djournal.com:
Olin Winchester has been awarded a $145 million fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract to manufacture .38 caliber, .45 caliber and 9mm ammunition for the U.S. Army.
It is the company’s fourth contract in five years. Last March, Olin Winchester secured a $37 million contract for 5.56mm, 7.62mm and .50 caliber ammunition with a completion date of March 14, 2026.
The company was the lone bidder on this project, which was solicited online. The estimated completion date for the contract is March 27, 2027.
