YouTube Continues Censorship Campaign Against Conservatives

UPDATE 9/22/2017: YouTube has reinstated the video and removed the strike against their community guidelines. We appreciate all of you who took the time to write YouTube a message.

Saratoga, Wyoming–(Studentofthegun.com)- YouTube, a Google subsidiary, is continuing its campaign of random censorship of conservative content creators. On September 15, 2017, YouTube removed Student of the Gun Radio Episode 621 entitled “Socialism Always Results in Violence”. After claiming that the submission had been “flagged for review”. The Internet video giant stated that the video (an audio stream of the radio show) was removed because “it violates our guidelines”. No other explanation was provided.

YouTube is a private business that offers its service in exchange for ad revenue. However, one might wonder exactly to what standards and guidelines Google and YouTube adhere. During the same week that “Socialism Always Results in Violence” was removed, YouTube continued to air a video from a rapper that depicted the murder of a young white boy by hanging.

Based upon their behavior, YouTube apparently sees the depiction of child murder as free speech within their guidelines. However, being critical of socialism is a violation of YouTube standards.
