As someone who has raised two sons to successful adulthood, coached and taught hundreds of youth, and trained thousands of young military men, I have a few opinions on the subject of Man Skills that every boy should have before he leaves his father’s house.

I decided to place this skill set first as it seems to be so overlooked in today’s culture. As simple as this seems, stitching a small tear in a shirt or pants or sewing on a button has become high science to modern young men.
