Kids don’t stay kids forever, they are truly Adults in Training.

The 4H Shooting Sports program helps young people grow into responsible, productive adults. We spent some time with the 4H folks this summer and are going to introduce you to one of these young people this week.

The SOTG Crew traveled to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to visit with our friends at Red Jacket Firearms and talk about some of their new projects.

During the Brownell’s Bench Talk segment we’ll discuss building your very own AR-15 rifle and how to get started.

We also consider several pistols chambered in 7.62x25mm as well as taking look at what is inside Paul’s travel pack.

Paul G. Markel has worn many hats during his lifetime. He has been a U.S. Marine, Police Officer, Professional Bodyguard, and Small Arms and Tactics Instructor. Mr. Markel has been writing professionally for law enforcement and firearms periodicals for nearly twenty years with hundreds and hundreds of articles in print. Paul is a regular guest on nationally syndicated radio talk shows and subject matter expert in firearms training and use of force.
