SOTG 506 - Wild West Warnings

The media continues to prove Professor Paul right, this time there are trotting out the tired, old “Wild West” warnings. Yes, as they have done for three decades now, every time a liberal fascist encounters the subject lawful concealed carry they warn that it will be like the”wild west”. Only one week ago Paul predicted more of this was coming.

Our SWAT Fuel Warrior of the Week has a question about mini-red dot sights and lasers. This is an excellent topic for today. While technology can never overcome a lack of training, modern tech has much to offer the American gun owner.

From www.breitbart.com:

Monday, ESPN2 “First Take” co-host Stephen A. Smith weighed in on the proposed bill in Washington state that would allow concealed carry holders to bring their guns into sports facilities.

Smith says if the bill, also known as HB 1015, is passed, then it would be “bringing the wild wild west to a game near you.”

“[L]egislators from the state of Washington are actually proposing laws that would allow those with concealed weapons to enter arenas and stadiums,” Smith began. “In other words, bringing the wild, wild west to a game near you. This shouldn’t be the case. It should never be the case. It is time for all of us to pause and to get a grip. Forget conversations about Second Amendment rights and all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it.”

He continued, “These are arenas and stadiums we’re talking about here, people — places where sports take place, where games are played, where kids from ages 5 to 10 to 15-years-old and beyond come with their parents, drink soda, eat popcorn, root enthusiastically, then fantasize about participating in those arenas. What’s there to fantasize about here if we’re talking about patriots carrying pistols, especially with concession stands selling alcohol just a few feet away? What the hell has happened to us?”
