SOTG 052 Pt. 1 – Why Connecticut Matters to You

Regardless of where you live in the United States, the current state of affair in Connecticut matters to you. This is a Liberty Test and we do not yet know whether the citizens of CT will pass or fail.

Is “following orders” a valid excuse for violating the U.S. Constitution? Was Lt. Vance of CTSP goaded or did we get a glimpse at his soul?

Paul G. Markel has worn many hats during his lifetime. He has been a U.S. Marine, Police Officer, Professional Bodyguard, and Small Arms and Tactics Instructor.     Besides the Constitution, Lt. Vance had better read up on the history of the Nuremberg trials — those “National Socialists” in Germany were also following the “law” and “obeying orders” as well…

    I was listening to your CT podcast and thought I’d send you a related web-site. If you go to cslib.org/constitutionalamends/constitution.htm, you’ll find CT’s right to bear arms stated in sec 15 of the CT constitution. Officer Vance seems to be ignoring the state constitution as well as the federal.
