SOTG 096 Pt. 2 – Think Speak
The news is not always what is reported. Sometimes what is most telling about a story are the facts that are deliberately left out. This week we see yet another incident of conveniently omitted details offering cover monsters. Also, Professor Paul called for common-sense measure to prevent further tragedy.

Hello Professor Markel. I am a retired military veteran and retired LEO. I live in “The Sea of Iniquity,” otherwise known as Uber progressive liberal Austin,Texas. Police Chief Art Acevedo was hired a number of years ago from the California Highway Patrol.(California. Go figure) This little man is a micro manager with a type A personality. Plus, the most dangerous place to be in Austin, is between Art Acevedo and a news media camera. He is constantly having news conferences on TV. Instead of having a Public Information Officer that handles all media matters, he does them all. One other point. The Austin Police Sergeant that shot McWilliams, reportedly fired one round from his Smith and Wesson MP. 40 caliber pistol, one handed, while holding the reins of two horses he was putting away for the night. The bullet hit McWilliams in the heart, from a distance of three hundred and twelve feet. This is what Acevedo said in the following press conference. Not an impossible shot, but hard to believe, since Acevedo said it. Fortunately I never had the misfortune of working with him, or for him. Thank God.
