SOTG 83 Pt. 2 Take Off
Take Off. Despite the portrayal of our neighbor to the north as a socialist paradise with free healthcare for all and the most amiable populace on Earth, there is some insanity going on in Canada. One might even say some tyranny is afoot.
For starters, the Canucks have instituted a Possession and Acquisition Licence requirement. Yes you need to get a permission slip from the government to “possess” or purchase a firearm. Failure to maintain proper paperwork could end with you in jail. But fear not, as long as you don’t commit murder with a firearm in Canada they will be merciful. You might even get a Day Pass to wander around Toronto.

Yup I’m Canadian. To shed some light on your comments/questions…
1) ammo can be stored with a gun if it is inside a safe. out of a safe they have to be separate.
2) Govt says can’t load a gun anywhere it is not lawful to shoot. Most urban municipalities have no shooting bylaws (except at ranges) therefore can’t have loaded gun in an urban house. Rural places it is ok but it has to be in your possession (as in you can’t leave it loaded in the bedside drawer)
3) LLC = lawyers
4) We have Turdo (Ex-Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau) to thank for the “rehabilitation of the criminal is more important than the protection of the victim”. Now his son Justin is trying to win in 2015 to continue the socialist nanny-state, liberal agenda of his father. Canadian Gun Owners are ramping up to make sure that doesn’t happen.
