With the announcement that the U.S. Army has rejected the M9A3 upgrade from Beretta, a new standard issue sidearm for the U.S. Military seems to be much close to reality. What that pistol will be is still anyone’s guess.

I love my 92FS Inox, and it has served me flawlessly for over 12 years. Given the advances in pistol manufacturing technology and materials, it is definitely time for a new design.
I KNOW Smith & Wesson can produce this gun, and I really hope they win the contract. American troops should be carrying an American made firearm!
