This isn’t a New Concept…
The Armed Citizen
What is that? It’s more than just a person with a gun. An Armed Citizen is someone with the knowledge, experience and ability to use that firearm when the time is right. Furthermore an Armed Citizen is someone who knows and appreciates the value and meaning behind being able to be armed and defend your own life.
It’s not limited to guns either. You can be armed with pepper spray, a stun gun or taser, a pocket knife, etc. Any tool that you can use in a to fight in a self-defense situation. If you think that all it takes to be an armed citizen is owning a firearm, you are mistaken.
Some people think that Arms Control is a recent thing, that Governments never attempted to control or seize the weapons of it’s citizens until the last 50 years. That is incorrect. 13th century Scotland, Nazi Germany, there was crossbow control in Japan many moons ago.
In fact one of the reasons for the American Revolution was that the British were trying to confiscate and regulate American Citizen’s firearms. That’s why the whole 2nd Amendment is a thing, not cause they just though it of out of the blue, but because in the past the ruling class had tried to disarm the “second-class citizens”.
It is almost always the M.O. of the State or the Government to control or regulate the citizens ability to have and use arms. If you don’t know the reason why, then even more reason for you to read this book.
Professor Paul takes the time in this book to dive deep into the History of Arms Control not just in America, but around the world. The Hows, Whys, and Whens of arms control. In Examining the Armed Citizen, you can get a good, detailed look into the strategies that have been implemented throughout the years.
Also, the Professor is not he first one to have pointed these things out. In fact he references some others in this book, and some of them go back a long time. This isn’t new people! Arms Control has been going on all around the world for many, many years. There is little excuse for you to not be educated on this. So pick up your copy of “Examining the Armed Citizen” today.
