A Las Vegas woman shot and killed an alleged home intruder Wednesday morning as he held a gun to her boyfriend’s head.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that the alleged intruder was the woman’s ex-boyfriend, and that he entered the home through a window around 4:30 a.m.

Once inside he noticed that the woman was armed with a handgun, so he allegedly exited the residence, retrieved a gun for himself, then returned.

Olin Winchester has been awarded a $145 million fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract to manufacture .38 caliber, .45 caliber and 9mm ammunition for the U.S. Army.

It is the company’s fourth contract in five years. Last March, Olin Winchester secured a $37 million contract for 5.56mm, 7.62mm and .50 caliber ammunition with a completion date of March 14, 2026.

The company was the lone bidder on this project, which was solicited online. The estimated completion date for the contract is March 27, 2027.
